Description

The work included removing paint and rust from the column base steel plates, base anchor bolts, column flanges, and webs in the steel columns. It was restored to its original condition or replaced with all elements in Bldg. 857 that may have had to be replaced or relocated during the work. We also installed new A36 Steel plates to the webs and/or flanges and painted all the treated and new steel plate surfaces with two anti-rust coats of 3 mils each.
